Spring Competitive SB

Diamond Council offers a competitive league for whole teams.   This league provides teams a place to play more skilled players.  Coaches in these leagues must communicate to their players that these are competitive teams and players are not guaranteed equal playing time as in Recreation Leagues. Coaches select players and players select coaches with the understanding that the coaches are not obligated to give equal playing time to all players.

2013 USSSA SOFTBALL LEAGUES - COLUMBIA, MISSOURI

Diamond Council is accepting registration for its’ Competitive softball leagues.
This league will play two games per week, and will be mostly double headers.

League Descriptions

10 & Under Competitive
Teams will be scheduled for a total of 12 games and playing on Tuesdays starting Mid-April. Games will be played at Antimi Complex located in Cosmo Park.  Game times will be 6:00 and 7:30 PM. USSSA Fastpitch Rules are used for these divisions, except teams will be allowed to bat the roster and have free substitution.

12 & Under Competitive
Teams will be scheduled for a total of 12 games and playing double headers on Wednesdays starting Mid-April. Games will be played at Antimi Complex located in Cosmo Park.  Game times will be 6:00 and 7:30 PM. USSSA Fastpitch Rules are used for these divisions, except teams will be allowed to bat the roster and have free substitution.

14 & Under Competitive
Teams will be scheduled for a total of 12 games and playing double headers on Tuesdays or Thursdays starting Mid-May. Games will be played at Antimi Complex located in Cosmo Park.  Game times will be 6:00 and 7:30 PM. USSSA Fastpitch Rules are used for these divisions, except teams will be allowed to bat the roster and have free substitution.

18 & Under Competitive (15-18 yr)
Teams will be scheduled for a total of 12 games and playing double headers on Monday, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays starting late-May or early June.  Rained out games will not be made up, however, 10 games will be guaranteed.  Games will be played at Antimi Complex located in Cosmo Park.   Game times will be 6:00 and 7:30 PM. If needed a 9:00 game time will be played.  We will follow high school rules of play, however teams will be allowed to bat the roster and have free substitution. Teams do not have to be USSSA registered, however, all players must have their own insurance in order to participate. All players must be in 9th-12th grade in fall of 2011. Travel teams and High School teams may enter.
